This iconic building and former headquarters of OVG Real Estate is one of the most remarkable buildings of Rotterdam’s skyline. It was established in 1953 as a workshop of the Holland-America line. After a creative re-development in 2007, Las Palmas became one of the most desired workplaces in Rotterdam. In 2018 one of the tenants moved out, making an identity rebranding of the building necessary to find a new tenant.

I felt the building’s new identity should embody its great history, as well as its high-end interior and exterior. That is why I chose the static typography in combination with the black and white colour palette. The trailer also emphasizesthis style by making use of jazz music, combined with footage from Rotterdam in its earlier days.
